Dream Inn Santa Cruz Presents St. Patrick's Day Vertical Concert

During these hard times we have all been going through, we wanted to take this opportunity to bring live music back to life. This Vertical Concert will take place right here at Dream Inn Santa Cruz with the band playing live from the pool deck.

Our opening DJ and the legendary Black Irish Band will offer the safest, socially distanced, open air concert this year. Ticket holders will enjoy the concert from their private guest room balconies overlooking the pool deck. Each room offers an aerial views over the concert floor and perfectly equipped for social distancing with private household viewing.

About the Event:

Your health, well-being and safety are the upmost importance during this time. COVID 19 is still a large concern in our country, state, and county. This particular program is designed to allow for the safest environment possible. There is no better way to attend a live event, then watching it from the safety of our own personal guestroom and balcony. Each Ticket Package maxes out with 1 – 4 people to encourage family/household pods viewing the show together. We require all the below COVID 19 prevention standards be followed. Failure to follow these standards may and can result in eviction of the property.

  • Face Mask/Coverings must be worn at all times when indoors, or when 6-Feet social distancing is not possible.
  • Must remain at least 6 feet away from others when standing in ques, walking the property, checking in or any other circumstance when around people.
  • Wash and sanitize hands regularly
  • No yelling or screaming from your balconies/patios
  • You may not crossover other balconies/patios or enter another quest room you are not registered in.
  • Follow all CDC and State guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID 19

The Program

All ticket packages come with overnight accommodations in a Deluxe Ocean View room, and a private balcony or patio overlooking the pool deck/stage. Package includes all your hotel room conveniences and perfect views of the stage and ocean 

Each below Ticket Package outlines the Room Type, Viewing Location, and # of Guests allowed per Package

The pool deck/stage area will be closed starting at 11am, and the evening begins at 5:30pm with DJ Peter Pop, and Black Irish Band starting at 7:30pm.

During the evening, there will be Food & Beverage offerings at Jack’s Patio, and Room Service.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Ticket Packages must be purchased over the phone by calling 844 291 9681 or click here
  2. Guaranteed check in is 5pm. Check out is 11am
  3. Full Ticket Package price + taxes and fees will be charged in full at the time of booking
  4. Tickets Packages cannot be resold, or given to another party not registered
  5. Only the Registered Ticket Package holder may check in and obtain guest room keys and passes vis state issued ID or Passport
  6. Must be over the age of 21 to purchase a Ticket Package
  7. All Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.
  8. Each Ticket Package may not go over the allotted # of people in a package.
  9. Ticket Packages may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to March 17th, 2021 (March 3rd) , for a full refund. Any cancellations within 14 days will forfeit the full deposit
  10. In the event of inclement weather, the program may be cancelled or moved. This will be determined if the view of the pool deck/stage is obstructed or poses a risk for the band and musical equipment. If this is the case, you will receive a full refund or guaranteed a reservation for the new proposed date.

General Terms and Conditions

Each Ticket Package you purchase from Dream Inn is intended to give you a revocable license (or right) to entry and attendance of this particular Event only to which the Ticket Package pertains. Each Ticket Package holder has a right to a hotel guest room, seat or standing place in relation to the stage, of a value corresponding to that is stated on the Ticket Package Confirmation Letter. Dream Inn reserves the right to provide alternative guest rooms, seats or standing places to those specified on the Ticket Package.

You must be preregistered, and must produce a valid State ID or Passport and credit card as you enter Dream Inn. Failure to produce such information when requested may result in you being denied access to Dream Inn or in you being removed from the property. Ticket Packages will not be sold at the door.

Tickets Packages are not transferable and cannot be resold or offered for resale (including on-line auction sites) or used for commercial purposes including advertising, competitions, contests, sweepstakes, promotions, or used, sold or given away in conjunction with other products or services without the express written permission of Dream Inn in advance. If this condition is breached the Ticket Package may be cancelled without refund or compensation and the bearer of the Ticket Package may be refused entry or removed from Dream Inn.

Any Tickets Packages brought from unauthorized agents or third parties are not valid and admission to an Event/Dream Inn on the strength of such Tickets Packages will not be permitted. All Tickets Packages remain the property of Dream Inn at all times and constitute a personal revocable license from Dream Inn to the Ticket Package holder which may be withdrawn by Dream Inn and admission refused at any time upon refunding the printed purchase price of the Ticket Package.

We reserve the right to restrict the sale of Ticket Packages to a maximum number per persons, per credit card and/or per household and to cancel any Tickets Packages purchased in excess of this number. *see above Ticket Package options

If an error is made in the price of Tickets Packages ordered by you, you will be notified by us as soon as possible and we will give you the option to either (a) reconfirm your Ticket Package order at the correct price; or (b) cancel your Ticket Package order and receive a full refund from us.

It is your responsibility to (i) ensure that your Ticket Packages are collected by or delivered to you before the date of the Event – via confirmation email. Ticket Packages are also confirmed via First and Last Name, or confirmation number when presented at Dream Inn Registration/check-in.

Cancellation Policy

You are entitled to cancel your purchase of and return your Ticket Package at any time prior to the scheduled date of the Event to which the Ticket Package(s) apply by contacting Dream Inn and arranging such cancellation and return, subject to the following:

1. If you qualify as a “Consumer” as defined in the Consumer Protection Act, 2008:

1.1 If you cancel your purchase you will be entitled to a refund of the full value of the ticket less a reasonable cancellation charge, calculated as follows:
1.2 for Ticket Package(s) returned between 0 and 14 days prior to the event date, a reasonable cancellation charge of 100% (one hundred percent) will apply;
1.3 Notwithstanding the above, if you can provide us with proof that the person for whom, or whose benefit a Ticket Package was purchased will not be able to attend the Event because of his or her death or hospitalization, no cancellation fee will apply in respect of that Ticket.
1.4 If you do not qualify as a “Consumer” as defined the Consumer Protection Act, 2008:
1.5 If you cancel your purchase you will be entitled to a refund of the full value of the ticket package if cancelled outside if 7 days prior to the event. (Oct 24th, 2020)
1.6 Your purchase of Ticket Package is subject to our right to cancel or reschedule an Event at any time, or to alter or vary the program of an Event, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where we alter or vary the program of an Event, we shall not be obligated to refund any Ticket Package monies or exchange your Ticket Package. Please note that if an opening act or guest artist is changed or cancelled, the event is not considered cancelled and you will not be entitled to a refund or exchange. Neither Dream Inn nor any other person shall have any liability to you to refund the purchase price of a Ticket Package in circumstances where an Event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Dream Inn reserves the right to upgrade any ticket package holder to a higher price ticket package or guest room section at their own discretion without compensation to existing ticket Package holders in that area where they are upgraded to.
1.7 If an Event is rescheduled or cancelled, we will use our reasonable means to notify you as soon as possible thereof (including notifying you of the details of any rescheduled Event) by publishing the details of the rescheduled or cancelled Event, as the case may be, on the website located at the domain name and by e-mail to the contact details which you provide at the time of the purchase. It is therefore important that you provide Dream Inn with your correct contact details at the time of the purchase. If the Event is to be rescheduled, you will be offered a Ticket Package for the rescheduled performance of the Event (subject to availability and you having provided us with correct contact details). Should you not wish to attend such a rescheduled performance of the Event, you will be required, for purposes of safety and security planning in respect of the Event, to notify Dream Inn of your intention to not attend that Event. You may give such notification by way of phone call, or e-mail, which notification must be received by the date published on the website. Should you give notification as stated above or if the Event is not rescheduled, you shall be entitled to a full refund. If the relevant Event is only partially cancelled, we shall give you a partial refund corresponding to the proportion of the Event cancelled. Any refund referred to herein must be claimed by you by contacting Dream Inn to arrange the refund. 

2. The following restrictions will apply to your attendance at an Event and your breach of any of these may lead to you being ejected from the Dream Inn

2.1 Appropriate standards of behavior are expected of all persons attending an Event and staying at Dream Inn, and persons deemed to be behaving in a manner that is dangerous or unacceptable in the opinion of Dream Inn or its agents or contractors, will be refused admission and/or removed from the Hotel with no refund on the Ticket Package. Activities that breach the COVID Safety Guidelines (addressed above) are strictly prohibited for your own safety.
2.2 In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all patrons, we reserve the right in our reasonable discretion to conduct security searches of persons, clothing, bags and all other items on entry of the Dream Inn, to confiscate items which may cause danger or disruption to the Event or to other patrons or that are in breach of the Ticketing Package Terms and/or to refuse admission and/or to refund the Ticket Package face value if we have reasonable grounds to do so.
2.3 Ticket Package holders may be ejected from Dream Inn, in the reasonable opinion of Dream Inn, its agents or any contractors appointed by Dream Inn, the Ticket Package holder is a risk to the safety of any patron and/or may affect the enjoyment of other patrons and/or the running of the Event or may cause damage, nuisance or injury. Examples include being (or appearing to be) drunk, incapable, intoxicated or under the influence of illegal drugs, under-age (where relevant), abusive, threatening, carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, not following safe COVID 19 rules, such as but not limited to (physically distancing 6 feet away, wearing a mask for ages 2 years and up, staying with your ticket package room only).

3. The following items are not permitted at Dream Inn:

3.1 Any illegal drugs
3.2 Knives, weapons of any nature or fireworks
3.3 Any object that could be used to distract, hinder or interfere with any performer, including laser pointers and flashlights
3.4 Flags with poles, large flags or banners of any kind.
3.5 Any whistle, horn, musical instrument, loud hailer, public address system or vuvuzela
3.6 Digital, electronic or other recording or broadcast device
3.7 Any item that you intend to distribute, hawk, sell, offer, expose for sale or display for marketing or promotional purposes
3.8 No animals apart from authorized guide/assistance dogs
3.9 Professional cameras or video recorders
3.10 Smoking is not permitted in the guest rooms or the balconies/patios. $350 Fine for smoking in these areas. There are smoking areas in front of the hotel
3.11 The unauthorized use of photographic, video and/or sound recording equipment is prohibited.

4. If you are a disabled person, you are requested to inform Dream Inn, its agents and contractors will use their reasonable endeavors to accommodate and assist you

5. Please note that film cameras may be present at the Dream Inn. By purchasing Ticket Package and attending the Event, you consent to being filmed, photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded, and that your name, voice and likeliness may be broadcasted, displayed or distributed (commercial or otherwise) without any compensation being paid to you.

6. You voluntarily assume all risks and dangers incidental to an Event, whether occurring before, during or after the Event, and you waive any claims for loss, damage, personal injury or death against Dream Inn, the management of Dream Inn, any agent of Dream Inn, the performing artist(s), participants, and all of their respective parents, affiliated entities, agents, officers, directors, owners and employees on behalf of yourself and any minor accompanying you or for whom you purchased a Ticket Package.

7. Dream Inn cannot accept responsibility for damage to or loss of any personal property at the Hotel and during the Event.

8. You bear the risk of inclement weather.

9. To the fullest extent possible in law, we do not accept liability for and you will have no claim in respect of:

9.1 any errors relating to the location of your room relative to the stage as indicated on the seating plan prepared for Dream Inn: or
9.2 the quality of the view from your seat or guest room: or
9.3 any problems relating to the adequacy of traffic control to and from the Dream Inn; or
9.4 the quality of sound and lighting at the Event; or

10. You agree and acknowledge that neither Dream Inn nor any of its agents have guaranteed or made any warranties or representations to you in relation to the accuracy of the location of your room or viewing area relative to the stage as indicated on the seating plan prepared for Dream Inn, the availability of parking at the Dream Inn and/or the adequacy of traffic control to or from Dream Inn.

11. If any provision of these Ticketing Package Terms is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction that shall not affect the legality, validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of these Ticketing Package Terms; or the legality, validity or enforceability in any other jurisdiction of that or any other provision of these Ticketing Package Terms.

12. No indulgence which Dream Inn or any of its agents and/or contractors (the “Grantor”) may grant to you and/or the Ticket Package holder (the “Grantee”) shall constitute a waiver of any of the rights of the Grantor, who shall not thereby be precluded from exercising any rights against the Grantee which might have arisen in the past or which might arise in the future.

13. These Ticket Package Terms cancel and supersede all prior negotiations and previous agreements, understandings and arrangements, whether written or oral, between you and Dream Inn or any of its agents and/or contractors.

14. These Ticket Package Terms constitute the whole agreement between you and/or the Ticket Package holder and Dream Inn in respect of the subject matter hereof and no addition to or variation or novation of this agreement shall be of any force or effect, unless reduced to writing and signed by the above parties.

15. These Ticket Package Terms shall be governed by the State of California Law and be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State of California courts.


16. If you experience any problems at the Event/Dream Inn, please contact a steward or Front Desk as it may not be possible to resolve issues after the Event.

17. In case of emergency please follow instructions and directions from stewards, staff and/or other officials.

18. Please note that loud music at Events can damage hearing.

19. When purchasing alcohol at Dream Inn, if you appear to be under the age of 35 you may be asked for proof of age.

20. You and everyone in your Ticket Package must follow all Health and Safety standard put in place to prevent the spread of COVID 19. Consists of, but not limited to: Everyone over the age of 2 must wear a face mask, when outside their guest room, social distance 6 feet away when outside of your guest room. Wash and sanitize your hands as much as possible, only Ticket Package holders allowed in guest room. You may not go into another guest rooms outside of your designated room. Ticket Package Holders may not exceed the # of people allowed in their room/ticket package. This is to prevent outside groups gathering and staying within your household
