Janell Flores Bolte
Janell Flores Bolte embarked on her spiritual journey at the age of six under the guidance of her aunt Carmen Redhawk Caswell. Redhawk Caswell imparted the wisdom of stillness and the importance of listening to the language of the earth.
Following several decades of profound Soul growth—the kind gained from grief, trauma, and loss—Janell chose to dedicate her life to working and living in the expansive realms of the heart.
At the beginning of her husband John’s cancer journey, Janell became certified as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher through the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. She shared everything she learned with John and he became her first student.
Mindfulness and meditation are the foundation for the work that Janell facilitates as a Soul Coach. Her approach incorporates shadow integration, somatic experiencing practices, and modern mysticism.
Janell serves as the principal teacher with a research project at the Northern California Veterans Affairs studying the impact of mindfulness and brain health practices on veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and mild traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
She is the creator of the transformative online course, “Resurrecting the Wild Woman—A Journey to Reclaim, Remember, and Rewild.”
Janell incorporates teachings passed down from her ancestors and her considerable experience as a Soul Coach and mindfulness instructor into her work within the realm of plant medicine facilitation and integration. She is a graduate of the Alma Institute’s Psilocybin Facilitator Certification program.
She lives in a tiny hamlet surrounded by trees near San Francisco. She is the proud mama of two loveable teenagers (not an oxymoron) and a wire-haired mutt named Gouda.
